Vegan Cookbook of the week…”Quick and Easy..”

Hello my beautiful blog family. How have you been this past week? I have been “Naturalee Happee”and I hope you have been just as happy.😊

This week’s cookbook is..

“Quick and Easy Vegan Comfort Food” by: #Alicia C. Simpson. If you read my first post on “the vegan cookbook of the week”, then you know what my “criterias” are for choosing a book to review.

This book has great photographs, but there are only a few and they are in the middle of the book. πŸ˜•This was disappointing for me because I need photos alongside of the recipe. Nevertheless, I still found this to be a good cookbook. If you are thinking of “transitioning” to more Vegan meals for your family to enjoy together, I would definitely suggest this book. Just this morning I made this one..

I substituted the all purpose flour for Flaxseed Meal and still enjoyed this recipe. The pancakes were light, fluffy, delicious, healthy, and best of all..VEGAN! 😊

This book is wonderfully written and Ms.Simpson has everything you can think of (Veganized). She has Smoothies, Breakfast & Soups, Main Courses, Side Dishes, Sauces & Dips, and Desserts! Looks good doesn’t it?

Hmmm. I might be making this one tonight! Lmbo! πŸ‘Œ

This book gets 4 stars out of 5.🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Book of the week…Vegetarian! 😦

Hello my beautiful blog family! Thank you for the follows and shares. This week I decided to go back. Why? A conversation I had with a co-worker yesterday made me decide to take it back to where I began. This week I chose this book..

“Total Health for you and your family The Vegetarian Way” is a book written by Virginia & Mark Messina, PhD. I purchased this book way back in 2000. It was old even then. Hmmm. I think I found it either at a bookstore, or at Goodwill.(Yes, I am an adult nerd) 😝

Now, I’m not promoting or doing a “review” of this book like I do my other picks. This book does NOT have beautiful photography or all of the “bells & whistles”. What it DOES have is wonderful information not only for you, but for your family, and for the children if you have any. It is a great book to have in your library. Here is a peek at the table of contents…

See what I mean? Every question you’ve ever had on why consuming meat is not the best thing for your digestive system, all answered right here! Don’t sleep on “old books”. Sometimes, they are better at having information that was presented and shut out way before you were born! Which is exactly why I prefer my books versus kindle. Not throwing shade on those devices, I just like to hold my book in my hands. 😁

Vegan cookbook of the week…Lindsay Nixon in..

Hello my beautiful blog family and fellow Goddesses! I hope you all had a wonderful week. Today is a truly beautiful sunny dayβ˜€, get out and enjoy it! 

This week my vegan cookbook pick is “Everyday Happy Herbivore” by Lindsay S. Nixon.

This book has BEAUTIFUL photography to go along with the recipes and you know I LOVE πŸ’œ photography! I even have a pin board on photography on my Pinterest. 😎

This book is also wonderfully written, has great low-fat recipes, and great seasonings. Sometimes I still “tweek” it with my own seasonings, but for the most part, the recipes are good “as is”.

So which recipe did I like the most? Actually, I liked too many to name out of this one book alone! This one was one I made recently…

I didn’t add the lemon juice to mine, but everything else was “on point”. It was GOOD!
